Hyperplastic:

  • Non-malignant
  • No work-up needed

Hamartomatous:

  • Juvenile (benign, may bleed)
  • Peutz-Jeghers (generally non-malignant, however these patients have ↑ risk of colorectal carcinoma)

Adenoma:

  • Most common polyp
  • Pre-neoplastic
  • risk with size (<1.5cm negligible, 1.5-2.5cm intermediate, >2.5cm high), sessile, villous, dysplasia
