Transmission

Cat scratch or bite, flea bite

Presentation

  • Local skin lesion (vesicle, papule, pustule or nodule) followed by regional lymphadenopathy (tender and suppurative)
  • Rare: CNS, hepatic or splenic involvement

Diagnosis

  • Clinical
  • Serology or positive Warthin-Starry stain

Treatment

Azithromycin
